A Fall Refresh with Gordmans

“…makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of sharpened pencils.” You’ve Got Mail

August has come to a close and cool morning temperatures are slowly creeping back. Football is starting, pumpkin spice lattes have returned, and fall is in the air. While no one in our household is officially returning to school, that won’t stop us from enjoying the shopping season and stocking up on a few of our favorites for the upcoming year.

We partnered up with Gordmans to gear up for our favorite season! I love shopping at Gordmans and the end of summer deals paired with the new arrivals for fall made for a very fun trip for Jack and myself! I was a little nostalgic as Jack and I stepped into the store, as my very first outing with Jack when I was on maternity leave was to Gordmans. Let’s just say this trip went 10x smoother than our first one.

Jack is slowly inching out of his six month clothes and we needed to get some new additions to his wardrobe for fall. He’s crawling all over the house and starting to pull himself up on things around him, and while excited for him, I know standing and walking are just around the corner (excuse me while I baby proof our entire house). Two of the outfits I picked out came with shoes, so we will see how he does with them.

Jack’s showing more and more interest in toys, though it’s usually just to chew on them. We picked up a few more interactive toys and he’s having a ball with them turning every single one of them into a chew toy.

I added a few things to my wardrobe. A few pieces for work, a mustard colored blouse and a new pair of jeans with a raw hem along with some new activewear tops that I typically live in on the weekends. I also picked up a mini faux fiddle leaf fig, some pumpkin decor, and a few candles! When one sees a faux fiddle leaf fig, one must not leave the store without it — who’s with me?!

We were able to spend less than $150 for all of our goodies. When you are on a budget, there’s no need to hunt for a bargain when everything is an exceptional deal on designer and brand name fashion and decor – especially if you are into decorating for the holidays. They have great fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and even some Christmas decor on their shelves! Don’t forget they have everything from clothing, home decor, kitchen decor, all the wall decor you can imagine, and more!
