On The Go with Triscuit Wheatberry Clusters

Over the years I’ve touched on what I do outside of blogging. Many former co-workers assumed I picked up blogging full time. While that still is a be a dream of mine, I’ve always kept blogging as a side hustle while continuing to work full time.

I spent my first four years post-graduation in corporate event planning. I spent two years on the planning and logistics side and then moved into buying. I was the merchandise buyer for travel amenities and branded materials that would be used for the meetings and incentive trips (think t-shirts, notepads, pens, as well as higher end gifts for award winners).

After four years of corporate life, I took a leap of faith and left to work at a fashion start up for menswear. I was freelancing a lot at the time and this was a great fit. I was a stylist for about a year.

This leads me to where I’ve been the past four years (this past weekend). I am a project manager at a commercial design company, also based in Des Moines. I check furniture plans and specifications, order product, coordinate installation and client relationships (and just about everything in between).

Every day calls for a different schedule depending on what needs to be ordered, emails or phone calls to be followed up on, or checking on project installations. Some days require more flexibility than others, and that means there are some days where I’m pushing my lunch back or don’t take a lunch break at all! Somedays are just go-go-go and thankfully that’s where Triscuit Wheatberry Clusters come in.

You’ve heard of Triscuit, but Triscuit Wheatberry Clusters? A wheat berry is a whole, unprocessed kernel of wheat that is roasted and clustered with real ingredients like cherries, almonds, cranberries, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and sweet corn.  Triscuit Wheatberry Clusters are non-GMO project verified, made without artificial colors or flavors. They are available in three varieties including Cherries and Almonds, Cranberries and Cashews and Pumpkin Seeds and Sweet Corn and can be found locally at Hy-Vee in the cracker aisle.

The flavors are both savory and sweet plus lots of added crunch! I love them, and so do my co-workers. Not only are they delicious and easy to snack on, they are packaged in convenient, resealable pouches. Perfect for when I’m running between the office and various sites.

I wish this snack had been created years ago, so often in each job I’ve held, there are those crazy days where you are just moving from one task to another and you don’t have a moment to sit down and take a deep breath, let alone twenty minutes to eat your lunch!
