I’m itching to finish our dining room design, and I was able to stumble upon inspiration from one of my favorite websites – Chairish, a destination site where design lovers buy & sell. Their collection of vintage decor for the home is awe-inspiring, how do you not want it all?!
I was able to put together a design board inspired by the many beautiful, modern, and rustic pieces found within the endless pages of vintage goodies. When pulling inspiration together for a space, it usually starts with one piece and branches out from there.
For this dining room/bar area, the modern and rustic bar stools immediately caught my attention. They are sleek, unfussy, and would blend in perfectly with my living room elements. I may be a fan of bold color; however, there are some spaces that are meant to be draped in neutral, and my dining room and kitchen bar area would be two of them.
When hosting friends and family, without a doubt we always end up congregating where the food and beverages are. So what better setting then this beautifully designed space. It offers an easily accessible bar cart, plenty of seating around the dining room table, and of course, at the counter with the bar stools. Let the conversation and good food take hold of the space, while the furniture lends itself to the ambiance of the room but doesn’t overshadow the space.
