When I first started out in the corporate world four years ago, I invested in a typical post-grad wardrobe – pencil skirts, button downs and cardigans. Thankfully this blog allowed for me to explore and find my personal style and I was able to break out of that shell. On occasion I reverted back to that uniform when a meeting presented itself at the day job, but now that I’ve switched companies and positions, my new work environment is a bit more relaxed. I’m able to explore a more casual yet still still put-together, side of my wardrobe, which allows for me to create a brand new uniform for my 9-5 job!
This is my recent go-to and I’ve re-worn this sweater more times than I care to admit since it arrived in the mail. And hats, if you haven’t realized by now, I’m big into these floppy hats, they are my savior on bad-hair days aka day three hair.

You look gorgeous, Sam!!! Thank you for being so wonderful to work with!!
You look darling, I wish my work was this casual!!!
Floppy hats always remind me of you! You know how to rock them like no other <3
Wow, these boots are fabulous! Love the striped top too!
Sam, you rock those hats!! I would kill for a pair of those Wolverine boots. I wish they were in my budget.
Thanks, Carrie! The boots were a huge investment, but trust me, I’ve gotten my cost per wear out of them, they are my fall boot staple!
