It’s time to unveil our master bathroom! After a few snafus with the shelving brackets, we finally got them hung on the wall. They completely make the space and they complete me. I chose a lighter stain then going super dark because I wanted this room to feel open, airy, inviting, and above all else, relaxed!
For the DIY shelves, I winged it. I picked up some pine (2×8″) at Home Depot and had them cut it down to 4, 2′ sections. I lightly sanded, stained and sealed each piece. I ordered brackets from Etsy and hired asked my husband politely to hang the brackets and shelves, and that’s it!
I’m still waiting for the amber bottles to arrive. I had initially ordered some from Amazon, only for them to arrive and realized I ordered glass bottles. For the purpose of them housing my shampoo, conditioner, etc. in the shower, I figured that wouldn’t be the safest route. Sadly, they had to be returned. Good news – I have some amber plastic bottles in the mail.
